Funky Electro House Set - TheFreshpage Sessions Volume 1 by Erick Decks

Erick Decks makes history with the first compilation released exclusively as TheFreshpage Sessions Volume 1...we wanted to create something special and give talented DJ's on our site a special chance to really make a mark on the scene with TheFreshpage Sessions and Erick Decks has done us so proud! Erick was given complete creative freedom to put together a mix of fresh tracks and what makes this set even more special is that he has also included a mix - track 9 of Eyerer and Chopstick which has yet to be released on Wild Obsession (www.wild-obsession.com).

TheFreshpage Sessions Vol.1 starts out with a laid back groovey feel and is blended perfectly into one of the most earth shaking tracks you've heard in a while - Ultra Nate's Love's the Only Drug - wow, if this doesn't raise the hairs on your arm then you aren't hearing it on a clear powerful sound system. If you had to pick one defining track for 2006 this one would stand at the top full of rich electro beats and intelligent lyrics. But we digress from Erick Deck's masterful mixing of track after mouth watering track until we reach another climax of Check This by Chris Lakes vs Trophy Twins. Another spine tingler that would positively move a dance floor so aggresively that sound waves would ripple through the air. But it just doesn't stop with 80's style Bimbo onto the exclusive Erick Decks remix of Electric by Eyerer and Chopstick - simply electric there are a lot of fearless layers to this track which blossom with basslines, synths and drumlines of a full on party. And the party continues rocking through the night with Weightlessness and closing with Pryda's heart warming rhythms and an Earthed out remix of Bossy.

Progressive House Set "Promo Copy 2006" by Intobiotics

Intobiotics consists of the duo Ignacio Bellora & Andres Mariuzzo from Beunos Aires, Arengtinca - signifying once again that electronic music unites us all under one roof, and this October promotional copy is of no exception. The tribal sound is everpresent and as this set progresses it mends electro house so precisely into the seams of its inner layers. It's exceptional because the beats are so powerful and agressive, something that is lost in a lot of todays music. www.thefreshpage.com/intobiotics.html

The set warms up with 80's style electro beats and transorfms into heavy basslines before transforming into progressive sounds and onto break beats. The one thing consistent through the set is the energy and the rich colourful tracks DJ Nemesis has chosen...we can see why it must have left everyone at the festival with a huge smile on their faces.
