Deep House and Garge Music "Sakura" by Todd Omotani

As one of Vancouver's favorite deep house and garage DJ's Todd Omotani has held several residencies at local clubs and upheld a sound that is true right down to his follicles. Sakura is a venture into soulful vocal tracks with beats that bring pure ecstasy flowing through your speakers. In fact you can just picture yourself dancing on a secluded beach with revelers of true deep house music with the sun shining and warming you inside out just like the silky melodies in each of these tracks. Promoters take careful attention to listen to one of the finest house DJ's Vancouver has to offer.

Dirty House Music "Live in Whistler" by Jesse James

Live in Whistler by Jesse James was of course recorded live in whistler between deck vet's Dimitri form Paris and Bad Boy Bill at the DJ Experience event at the Whistler Conference Center. It captures the radiating and emerging energy of the night and showcases Jesse's incredible talent in selecting songs that definitely moved the crowd (we were there, so we can attest to that!). It was a remarkable night and this set will solidify that magic in an amber for years to come.

Chicago House with DJ Heather and Iz & Diz

After our last taste of DJ Heather, we couldn't wait to hear her again and if this show was even half as good as the one that went down last year at the Commodore we were going to be happy. Upon entrance shortly before midnight the place was already packed and there was a lot of commotion perhaps because of the sweet music that was to come. read more...

Filthy Electro House "Au Fait" by Feline Phonix

Au Fait is an electro house set which Feline Phonix has labelled as Filthy House music! We know just why with the blend of dirty beats, rockin basslines and ice cold synths. Mastering a sound of her own is clearly explicative in Au Fait with tracks such as Jay Tripwire's Everytime and Phil Weeks' One Time.

Britanny Murphy and Paul Oakenfold???

PAUL OAKENFOLD Faster Kill Pussycat (feat. Brittany Murphy)

Brittany Murphy, known for her roles in such films as 8 Mile and Sin City, makes her vocal recording debut on the album’s upcoming first single, “Faster Kill Pussycat.” The actress-turned-diva was recommended to OAKENFOLD by a mutual friend. "I was looking for a different genre and a different feel and something just original for me," explains OAKENFOLD. "I knew I wanted a girl vocalist but also someone who's not known as a singer. It had to be someone from a completely different world than mine. It ultimately seemed that film was the right place to look because I was venturing more and more into that world. But even more importantly, I needed someone who could sing--who could really, really sing--and Brittany Murphy fit the bill."
